For the reading list updates, I’ve set myself a new rule. If there are books in my currently reading section, that are overtaken by books that I started later but finished sooner, they are obviously not being currently read ! They are books that I have started, but for some reason (lack of interest for some, circumstance for others) didn’t finish. This just to keep the list tidy. I will pick up those books again, but will have to start afresh then anyway.

In the meantime, I have thought of a new way to approach my reviewing. This because I find the prospect of having to write a complete and specific review on each book that I read, while also keeping the reviews interesting and original, daunting. I am very excited about it, but more information on that soon.

So without further ado;

Luna’s reading list update

Have just finished;

Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments series, or at least City of Bones and City of Ashes, the continuing story City of Glass is released March 24th, 2009

Neil Gaiman’s Anansi Boys

Currently reading;

Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book

Prospective reads;

Patricia Briggs’ Moon called, the first of the Mercy Thompson series

Joanne Harris’ Runemarks

Elizabeth Kostova’s The Historian

Have you noticed by the way, how The Historian has been a steady last entry in my prospective reads section ? I don’t know why, because I really do want to read it and it has been waiting on my shelf for months, but somehow there is always another book that takes precedence. Someday though…

It’s been a busy time and it’s not over yet. Luckily yesterday I have successfully defended my internship and thesis. So I’m one step closer to actually graduating my master of science. Just one more course to finish and then I can apply for my degree. Hurray ! Anyway, this has meant that reading has definitely happened, but the reviews are just swirling around my head on not swirling around this page yet. Oh well… soon !
